AA contest idea

just throwing it out there, maybe its been suggested, maybe not.

Atari Age could hold contest, maybe the games end up too big, I don't know.

But if its possible to create a multi-cart with 2600 basic made games, I think a contest

that we vote on the best games created with 2600 basic should be made into a cart.

Say the best 4 games.

I think that would be pretty exciting. Give each winners a copy of the cart, but even

further, there would be a label contest!

So you'd have 5 winners, with the label contest being held obviously after the initial

contest ran.

I'd be willing to get behind this idea, although I think we should let the whole Batari 2600 BASIC Compiler mature a bit first. He's still hard at work on the compiler, and people are only just starting to make games with it. I think there's a lot of potential and I'm looking forward to seeing how it all plays out. :)

Definitely. It's still so new, so not only does the Batari BASIC need to mature, but so do the coders. They're still exploring it and such.

Although I don't expect it will take too long before we see such a contest ;)

I mean, a contest like this needs its time so even once it runs I don't expect that it'll be over for a little while.

But I'm glad you like the idea Albert :)
