CrazyChris
I have a FB2 and I am having problems with two games, that I know of, Millipede and Return to Haunted House. The screen rolls so bad that they are unplayable? All the other games work fine. Any thoughts on why this is happening? Thanks, Chris

Thanks, Chris 909987[/snapback] Return To Haunted House shouldn't have any screen rolls at all; it runs with 262 scanlines constantly. Also, I found no problems when I extensively playtested RTHH on a real 2600 and 7800 before submitting it to Atari. Is anyone else seeing the screen rolls? keilbaca
No rolling screen here. However... this unit has kinda disappointed me, as I noticed VSYNC problems in Battlezone, Arcade Aseroids, Asteroids Deluxe, Dodge'm. EDIT: Also ran into a problem with Cavern of Mars, after you die, you can hold fire and keep firing, even after your ship has fallen to pieces. Well looks like the audio/video has its problems still, as bullets disappear on Quadrun. At least I'm glad to know its not just my mod Someone has to get to these games, and fix them as soon as possible, as I want to play Asteroids Deluxe without the VSYNC problem! It might be my tv, because it still has dials for channel changers. The FB2 goes through an rf modulator. Chris

I haven't seen rolling on other games (though Yars' Return and Space War have such unstable pictures that they are also unplayable, and Asteroids Deluxe is pretty bad too). I don't have another TV, unfortunately, so I guess I just don't get to play Millipede.
shadow460
Mine rolls a lot on the Jurassic age Sony TV in the living room. It rolls less on the small TV in the dining room, so that's where we hook it up. Adjusting the vertical hold stops all rolls on my C64 monitor.
