SlickShark
I don't currently have an Atari Flashback 2, and I have heard talk that on certain units, the Quadrun voice chip will not work. Will Atari offer to fix these units, provided they have been under normal operation?
compacho
NO! (no really, trust me)
ATARIeric
if you buy a unit and it has the older ver. chip in it then just return it to the store you bought it from. as far as atari goes on repairing them it would be costly for them to pay techs to work on them and then repack them just to sell as refurbs IMO. sidcrowe
Force yourself to wait for a bit, and don't buy from Wal Mart, and you should be safe from the bad chip. Don't buy and return on purpose as this will hurt Atari Or if you must, and the chip really bugs you, again, not buying from Wal Mart increases your chances for a good chip
