+Random Terrain
Check out this thread: http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=61656 You might find some good ones there. One of my favorites is Star Control 2. Much better than the PC version.
Smiley
Get some imports. As you may or may not know, it doesn't have regional lockout. as far as some of the best games imo: Gex Wing Commander 111 Space Hulk Killing Time Luciennes Quest (prolly still expensive, but worth it) I'm sure there is more. Which brand of 3do are we talking about? cause I have the Goldstar, the one that is supposedly very problematic, but I haven't had any trouble with it since I bought it about three years ago. Best 3do model is the top loading one by panasonic cause it is built well and plays bootlegs well. Then again, the sanyo one is pretty damn nice as well; my friend has one, and its super sexy..... +Random Terrain
Oh yeah, Gex is pretty darn good for that kind of game (especially if you cheat).
J.Max
I'd reccomend what the others said, plus Captain Quazar, Immercenary, and Foes of Ali. Oh yeah, Yu Yu Hakusho is good too. Edited September 4, 2005 by J.Max
Smiley
And I should say that Space Hulk in all seriousness, can be quite annoying if you don't have the patience. I only have one import for the 3do: Doreamons; some cheesy cartoonish rpg that I only bought cause I wanted an import game for my console. shadow460
Give Off World Interceptor a test drive. The Saturn version is pretty good, but it's got some catcalls in the cutscenes.
Brad2600
I should unload my 3DO. It's only going to gather dust.
SteveW
Kepone, just wait. I've got a couple of games in the mail, heading to you right now. And if you feel the desire to unload it later on, let me know. I don't have a 3DO console, so I'll buy it off you.
Brad2600
I'll hold onto it for a while longer. Nothing wrong with that. However, I may have to sell it in a few weeks. Will need money to get by since everything's going up in price.
PDorr3
I am going for a complete US 3DO collection. I recently got a goldstar and found the system really unique. I really like road rash, return fire, and the shock wave games. I almost have 60 complete games so far.

Jasoco
The one and only "Twisted". The only game I would ever want to play on a 3DO.
Godzilla
blade force, killing time, star fighter, battle sport (everything studio 3do did, really.) are all excellent games. po'ed remains one my fave fps'es of all time. sc 2 is still the best rpg ive ever played. space hulk has more innovation and atmosphere than any 10 fps'es out today (including halo,) despite some butt ugly graphics, immercenary has an amazingly immersive and large virtual world and real depth and gameplay meat on its fuguly fgx bones. perfect general has a really great 8 player bomberman game in it :-) way of the warrior is way overrated, tho, a real turd imho. lost eden is one of the best graphic adventures ive ever played, and dragon lore and wing commander III are no slouches either. both d&d games are great, with death keep being the better of the two. theres lots more but those are what immediately comes to mind :-) as a general note, most of the games that were ported to the psux/ratsun, are far superior on the 3do... which reminds me, one of the greatest 3do games, and still one my all time favorite racing games, need for speed. awesome awesome game, limitless draw distance, gorgeous graphics, great sense of speed, amazing crashes and replays, a funny smart ass guy u race against, great control, and tracks that never repeat :-) tasty. Smiley
Return Fire really is one of the console's best as far as multiplayer games go. My only gripe about the console, other than limited third party support, was the controller. With fighter especially, it was hard for me to use. Captain Quzar is another decent title if you enjoy off-the-wall games; might be hard to find nowadays though.
n8littlefield
Road Rash is a ton of fun. I'm not sure how it will have aged as I haven't laid eyes on a 3do for years, but I remember renting the system in college and loving Road Rash. Hyper_Eye
I just bought a 3do. It hasn't arrived yet. It is the goldstar. This is the first I have heard of it having any problems. I hope it works alright. I got it because it seemed to be more rare then the Pansonic ones and it looked nicer in the pictures IMO. It comes with the following games: Wing Commander 3 Rise of the Robots Burning Soldier Myst Cowbow Casino Escape From Monstor Manor SoccerKid Samurai Showdown Iron Angel of the Apocalypse Theme Park Phoenix 3 I also purchased these: Alone in the Dark Creature Shock Gex Quarantine Wing Commander 3, Alone in the Dark, and Quarantine are all games I loved on the pc. I look forward to having them on a console. I have Myst and Theme Park on the Jaguar. SoccerKid is one of the few games missing from my Jag collection so I will look forward to having that. I got Gex because I read it was one of the best games on the system. Other then that I don't know anything about the rest of the games. I hope it turns out to be a good system. Obviously, I like consoles that didn't get a lot of play as they tend to be underrated.

Quarantine! That was one of my favorite 3D0 games. It's kind of hard to play now since it's so blocky-looking, but I would love to play a redone version on the Xbox or 360, except mix in a lot of GTA in there for more freedom. On the 3DO the graphics are lacking. I would also love to see a retooled version of this game. Need for Speed for the 3DO is an absolute must have. I'm still amazed at how well it was done. Hyper_Eye
I can't recall if it includes the music or not. I actually have the discs but I am missing the card with the answers to the security questions so I donwloaded it from there so I could bypass the security. Hyper_Eye
Has anyone tried playing Soccer Kid on a Goldstar system? My goldstar will not play this game. I get to the title screen but when I try to start the game it reboots.

After whiping it off the problem was cleared right up.
