"Rumor has it (well mostly fact really, but the project is not guaranteed to complete) that a new and enticing Atari 2600 emulator for Windows might be forthcoming. There are currently a lack of almost perfect (DOS Z26 like) emulators for Windows, and if this new, yet unnamed emulator reaches fruition there just might be a new pole bearer. The author is DarrenB (Co-author of the excellent Atari ST emulator WinSTon). Coding is still at an early stage, but apparently a preliminary CPU core is almost bolted on.
