Eckhard Stolberg
John Saeger has just released a new version of the z26 emulator. The biggest change in this release is the addition of support for the Kid Vid voice module. As usual you can get z26 1.54 at John's homepage. While the Kid Vid games are playable without the music, they are much more fun, if you install some special WAV files which you can find here on Atari Age. Each cartridge has three different games, and to play one of them with music support you'll need the corresponding WAV file and KVSHARED.WAV. So you don't have to download all the files at once, if you just want to try out the new feature. So finally z26 should be able to play all released VCS games. If you are hiding any ROM images that aren't supported yet, please don't hesitate to contact us. This is espacially true, if you have a copy of Anteater, as the screen shot on this site shows a display problem with the score, and I'd like to find out what's going wrong. (Yes, I'm wierd enough to notice things like that in a screen shot. ) Ciao, Eckhard Stolberg
