opcode
Hi there! I am confident that this year's PhillyClassic will be a nice place to be if you are a ColecoVision fan. Scott Huggins probably will be releasing Spectar, I suspect Guy Foster will be releasing Gulkave, I hope to be releasing Magical Tree, and who knows what else Albert can pull off his hat in the last minute. In anticipation for this killer show, I am putting the final touches on a trio of MSX ports which I hope CV fans will enjoy. The games are Knightmare, Goonies and Gradius and they will present in playable form for the first time ever. Since a screenshot says more than a thousand words, please check them bellow. Knightmare is a nice shooter with a mythological twist. Help Popolon to save Princess Aphrodite, who was trapped by the evil demons from he underworld in Mount Atos. 8 stages, tons of different enemies, weapons, magic powers, secrets, etc. Did you think Sky Jaguar was too easy? Goonies is obviously based on the legendary movie. Help Brandon to save all the seven Goonies that have been held captive by the Fratelli brothers. 5 missions, more than a hundred sceneries, many power up items and different enemies, including the treacherous Fratelli brothers. It stayed as the best seller MSX title for more than 6 months. Gradius... Do I need to say anything? Include an 8th exclusive stage not found in the arcade version. Best shooter series ever... The above games are now possible thanks to our new MemoryPack expansion, which adds extra RAM to the base CV. Modules will be included with each game. Future Super Expansion Module will be backward compatible with it. Have fun! Eduardo Edited September 23, 2005 by opcode
DominiRican05
Wow Eduardo! These screenshots look amazing, especially the graphics on Gradius. I would've never thought graphics like these would've been possible on the CV. Look forward to playing all of these one day. Thanks you made my evening. :-)
