Obtuse
It's in the Skill and Action Zone if you haven't found it...but I'm sure you have, as everyone always reads the instructions in their entirety before using a product . Retro Rogue
Never saw the final layout revision, but I checked the last text revision I have for the small manual (rev4). Didn't notice anything like what you're alluding to in the Skill and Action Zone.
Obtuse
OK...here's the spoiler. Check "Save Mary"..... .....Barnaby just blew up the nearby damn causing the canyon to rapidly fill with water. The damn what? I can see how this was missed by spellcheck, as it is the correctly spelled synonym for "dam". Still an awesome product...I can't put the dam....err..... damn thing down! Room 34
Does this mean Hillary Clinton et al are going to be up in arms over the fact that the FB2 didn't get a T rating?
atwwong
Damn. Now I can stop looking through my FB2 manual, and hang my head in shame for not finding it...
+FujiSkunk
Whoever fat-fingered that shouldn't feel too bad. A while back, Jay Leno had a newspaper article about a dam on his "Headlines" segment. Every single place where it should have been "dam," it was "damn" instead. He had lots of fun with that one. [/pedantic] Damn nit-pickers. 950375[/snapback] [ultra-pedantic] In this usage, homophone should be preferred, since it only refers to sound-alike words. Homonym can refer to pairs of words that are either spelled alike or sound alike (or both), but have different meanings. I believe the use of homonym for sound-alike words is an error which has become accepted through repetition. Correct or not, the use of a word that has only one applicable meaning is certainly less apt to be misunderstood than using a word with multiple meanings.
