gamer1682
Instead of being a woodgrain looking console, it should have a darth vader case, making it look cooler and popular. I just wish the Fb3 included a cart connector with it so you only needed to make a quick trip to radio shack.. The REV 3 is most likely don by now ready to ship in the new year as Curt already stated. And the Vader style case, while a good idea, still won't happen. On to the cart port...lol.. ya right...lol.. Take that trip to RS casue thats the only your getting your cart port. carpecarne
I so want Curt to sign in, and with a smirk, reply in this thread, "You sure? " Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/78288-fb2-rev3-idea/#findComment-955100 Share on other sites
Feralstorm
I doubt there would be a variation in the case design unless there was a "New version" with different games of something like that Wouldn't be all that tough to do though, since all you really need is to change or remove the veneer. carpecarne
I don't think they would change the outside for one simple reason: The woodgrain is engraved in everyone's memories as being an "Atari". And since this product is directed towards a nostalic video game market, they want to be able to market this nostalgia as best they can. If you really want a vader, just take it apart and spray paint it! As far as the innards that Curt said would be changed....I so pray that it's a push in slot for a cart connector. (I can't solder to save my life). Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/78288-fb2-rev3-idea/#findComment-955117 Share on other sites

I know this is just anecdotal, but I was never even aware of the "Vader" model until about three years ago. carpecarne
Curt: HAHA...thanks for clearing up any rumors! Thomas: thanks for making such an ADDICTING game! (presuming you made it...ja? nein?). I showed it to my girlfriend for a split second and she was hooked as well! As Nolan Bushnell said: "The perfect game is one that is easy to learn but difficult to master." If only I could play it on my real atari! Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/78288-fb2-rev3-idea/#findComment-955536 Share on other sites
