WTB 2600 ROM Dumper

I need to get some ROMs (not available on Atariage) from cartridges I own in order to be able to play them on a cuttle cart. If there is an easy way to make one, I'd appreciate a point in the right direction. FYI, I'm terrible with a solidering iron and would just as soon buy something pre-made if possible.

Which ones?  Most are probably available online, just not in the database here at AA.

Here are some I'm missing:

Alfred Challenge

Allia Quest

Edtris 2600

Mental Kombat

Mine Sweeper

Pesco

Power Off!

Sea Battle

Tetris26

Vault Assault TE

I also have a bunch of Taiwan Coopers and Brazilian CCE and multi-carts with roms I'd like to dump.

Yeah I don't think Ebivision wanted their roms released.

Some of those are online though. Brazilian carts are mostly hacks of existing games or straight copies of existing games. Not alot of originality there.

There are a number of CGE carts on rom hustler though, just got to nav thru all the ads yuk!

Here's a few of them.

Doh had to edit, appears the rom for edtris was bad, but this copy works, just without a title screen.

tetris26.zip

Minesweeper.zip

In the Dedicated Systems forum, there's a discussion about how to dump the FB2. The exact same approach should work with any Atari 2600 cart on a real 2600. Basically, you make a dumper cart which is a normal cart with some special code it. You plug this in and power up the 2600. Then with the 2600 still powered up, you remove the dumper cart and insert your other cart and hit Reset. The Atari will then send the contents of that other cart out one of its joyports. If you have a computer hooked up to it (simple two-wire cable) you can capture the data. Voila!

Thanks, I just read the thread and will give this a shot.

Also thanks to Video Game Addict for the roms. I was aware of the Ebivision policy and am a little irked since I've purchased all their games three times already. (once from Hozer and twice from Atariage)
