128bytes
I remember seeing this back in the day - the AtariAge 1982 Christmas catalog. I don't think it's up on atariage.com but maybe I'm missing it. Great reading. Here's one sample page: ...btw, gospedde, if you're looking for a challenge, you can't do much better than knitting a replica of the Breakout scarf and hat and selling it for charity! else
I like the hat and scarf too. I bet they are nearly impossible to find now, even with eBay, since they don't indicate that they are "Atari" products anywhere on them.... Luigi301
If only they were Nintendo. Someone sent in a 1990 Nintendo order form trying to buy an NES Advantage controller from Nintendo... in 2004. Where most companies would not bother replying, Nintendo found some in a warehouse and shipped one right off to them. And, you just gotta love Atari making such weird things in the early '80s. A freaking telescope in the catalog! A star chart! And... Swordquest (barf). fsuinnc
you can get a Berzerk t-shirt from Jack Berg sales. It's a little different than the one shown in this catalog but still very Atari and very 80's. http://www.jackbergsales.com/toys/ataritshirts.htm Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/80299-atariage-magazine-1982-christmas-catalog/#findComment-982996 Share on other sites

Room 34
Man, I had COMPLETELY forgotten about this catalog until I saw that stupid inflatable kite. What a load of crap! I found some of the comments on that page interesting. Great retort to a comment from an Atari-sucks punk: I grew up with Atari and my generation rules the world and produces the games you now play. MegaManFan
That catalog is all kinds of cool, and the fact it's on a site called "gaming Steve" doesn't hurt either. +Random Terrain
OK, I scanned in the first two pages. Before I scan in the rest, are these OK the way they are or do you need them to be larger so you can resize them yourself? http://www.randomterrain.com/files7a2m/aa1982xmascat01.png http://www.randomterrain.com/files7a2m/aa1982xmascat02.png Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/80299-atariage-magazine-1982-christmas-catalog/#findComment-983109 Share on other sites

I just posted a link to someone else's copy on the web when I started the thread. Your scans look good IMHO, you great mighty master of the 'black paper behind the page so the other side doesn't show through' philosophy of life! If I ever need to resample them at a higher resolution down the road, it's good to have the originals. +Random Terrain
Seems like these are all of the pages I have. They are huge in file size.
