Rob Mitchell
It's also WAY more fun than I thought it would be. Trully one of the undiscovered gems of the era. 1008432 Oh yes! I remember the JS&R ads for the Bally promising everything that a personal computer could be back in 1978-1981. holygrailvideogames.com
Just an aside to anyone who has one. I did do the mod I mentioned (removed the internal RF shielding). The thing works great and doesn't overheat. It's also WAY more fun than I thought it would be. Trully one of the undiscovered gems of the era. 1008432 I have owned an Astrocade system since the 70's. It has always been one of my favorites. It doesn't have the library of other systems but it does have some great games such as The Incredible Wizard (Wizard of Wor), Muncher, Space Invader, 280 Zzzap, Galactic Invasion (Galaxian), Seawolf, Space Fortress and others. You can buy the system and the majority of the games for under $200. It is a lot cheaper to collect for and it truely a classic.
