+MrFish
Heaven, this is such a nice game !! great port ! I've tried charpad (i saw you used it) and it's great to design charactersets with rotating etc ! Len 1005461 If only Charpad supported different tile sizes than just 4x4... 1005464 Macro Edit supports user-defineable tile sizes. TMR
RMT module: Sack/C0s (original SID "Sanxion loader" by M. Galway) It's not the Sanxion loader (and that's a Hubbard tune) - s'a cover of a chunk of Parallax.

krupkaj
I always prefer a file over the boot-version... (can I have a file please?) 1004908 I would also like file version. If it is possible

+Stephen
i just realised that i got tearing of the background in atari800win in ntsc? can US guys double check on real hardware?`thanks... Well, I didn't get the screen to tear, but it did crash. A few times when I hit a wall, the ship would jump to the far right of the screen. The text at the top of the screen would color cycle, and the text at the bottom would not. After restarting the game, I crashed into the left side of the wall on level one, and the game froze (sound stuck, and the screen was rolling). Sorry I can't give more detail. EDIT Odd - hitting reset rebooted the machine, but the screen was still rolling and the background was a greenish orange. I had to power cycle the machine to get the game to reload. EDIT #2 It seems that every time I crash into the left side of the wall in level one, the game locks up. I'm playing on an NTSC 130XE. Heaven/TQA
Thanks Stephen, anybody here to whom i can give the source code + data files? this person could make a ntsc adaptation as in atari800win ntsc the game does not have any difficulties... so a guy with coding experience + real ntsc hardware would help here. volunteers? I have started working on a project, but won't make any announcements until I have pretty complete working code. Stephen Anderson

Heaven/TQA
here is the latest build... the file version is just for Miker for testing packers... venus2.zip
miker
Strange, it didn't load even on emulator. Maybe use SuperPacker first and move the data under ROM using it. (COPY command, IIRC).
Heaven/TQA
just realised that the .atr does not run...aaarg... it's the latest build which i have played for hours just few seconds ago???
miker
Wait - i try it, anyway! ------ It won't run, coz you are trying to run it from $f000, that is probably the problem. To place data uder ROM, you can do as i did on the picture. Additional data can be added to the file after ROM-RAM procedure. This file is attached, too! Ok, i'm still not a coder. SORRY - WRONG ATTACHMENT - now it's OK! VENUS2M.ZIP Edited January 29, 2006 by miker

Heaven/TQA
ok... don't ask my why but it now gets compiled again...
