+MrFish
please make a "radar rat race" mode... do you mean the game from c64 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radar_Rat_Race Yes, he does. This youtube movie is a better representation. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NQsPMf08m6s Atari will be complete once it has this! Hmmm... I haven't actually played the real thing yet, but it looks and sounds pretty crappy if you go by that youtube video.

Fuji-Man
Wow... This looks good. I cant wait to try this out... I wonder if you can use the same code for 'Bump n Jump'. I'm also looking for 'Omega Race' the 8 bit. I've been looking for a while with no luck.. Fuji-Man
miker
So... any progress? The project site seems to be broken for a some time, that's why i'm asking...
lbaeza
Hi The main programmers of this port are right now too busy with their real life (jobs, family, etc.), so the project is stand-by right now. Anyway, we still have the intention to give it some time and make some progress on it, but that's nothing sure at the moment. Glad to know there's still interest on this project. Regards

Regards I think the community is always interested in any new developement for the system. I don't think people lose interest in projects, they're usually just waiting for news. I'd love to see this one finished... very fun game... and looking great so far.
Ransom
I'd love to see the port finished, too. It's one of my favorite arcade games. If it was offered on cart for sale, I'd buy it! Edited March 24, 2008 by Ransom

pps
Seems that there is live in this project. At least in the cl forum is a post from december that links to a site (atm with mysql error) that seems to be a blog. I don´t speak the language (Spanish or Portoguese?) so here the post. miker
You can switch forum language to English - "Ene" means "Jan" then, so latest post in this thread was almost year ago... Edited January 4, 2009 by miker
pps
Miker, I only looked at the nov entries some posts above the ene one and didn´t noticed that the year changed there So I assume the port is cancelled...
Godzilla
seeing some of the glitched screenies made me think that a deliberately inverted maze to play on would be a heck of a way of squeezing more life out of the game and a good way of cranking up the difficulty as well. lbaeza
Sorry guys, but developement on New Rally X for A8 right now is on hold...the main programmer is M.I.A., and the rest of the team has not been able to continue the task...I hope those guys rescue this great project for the A8, the work made at the moment is amazing, very promising of a great final product. ToughGirl
I, for one, hope you guys can wrap it up someday. The game looks top notch, it really does. If you release it as a cartridge, you can sign me up for one:)
devwebcl
There is a small update to the graphics (I'll post a demo later), where looks more similar even to the arcade, but that's all for now; it's been quiet slow lately.

JonnyBritish
Assuming it gets finished for the Atari 800 etc will Atariage produce a new cartridge and sell it?
a8isa1
http://manillismo.bl...nrx-update.html This was asked for an earlier release of NRX, will there be an ATR version for use with real machines? I did manage to get NRX3.XEX to load from my SDrive by moving the boot loader ('B' key from the control program) to $3500. Thanks for this presenting this demo here. - Steve Sheppard
