AtticGamer
I haven't found a thread about it so here it goes. Cubeworld is a game similar to tamagochi but you don't take care of the creature that lives there, instead you play with the stickman that lives there and connect to other cubeworlds to make them interact. There are over 100 animations for each cube so it's hard to tell what they'll do next. Also, they react to movement so if ou shake the cube they'll think it's an earthquake and sometimes get sick. If you don't play with them they will do their things unaided and it's fun to watch them. I find these really interesting and I hope I can get one, pity no one else I know wants one. http://www.firebox.com/index.html?dir=fire...roduct&pid=1201 Edited April 4, 2006 by Atari_kid Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/85368-cube-world/ Share on other sites
Animan
I love these things. Haven't used 'em in a while though. Now there used to balance my atari games, since the cartridges are horizontal, and it may cause a domino effect. Lol, 3 year old thread XD Anyway, I have a couple, they are okay, not worth the 12 bucks though. Animan
Yeah, there a tad expensive. But, they're good for last minute gifts, like for birthdays and Christmas and stuff for tweens (ehh, hate that word). yuppicide
I have been interested in these ever since I seen them. Walmart has some in the clearance aisle, but even then they're too expensive. Does anyone know how many you can stick together? I'd like to see a "bedroom wall" sized video of them. Maybe I can be in the Guiness Book for largest Cubemod display! These look cool: Don't know if they were ever released, though. AtticGamer
Yes, you can make a monolith with those things, specially with all the different series that have come out. Toys R Us was selling the 2 pack cubes for like $7.99 last time I was there and Target is selling some sort of pack that looks like 1 cube and some sort of an extra piece the sticks interact with: See links: http://www.amazon.com/Radica-Cube-World-Mo...896&sr=8-16 http://www.amazon.com/Radica-Cube-World-Mo...022&sr=8-19 for $4.99 on clearance. Video
Cool things, I wouldn't pay that much for one though, but I always gotta give them a shake and such as I think it's amusing. They made a bigger one, about four times the size of the smaller one also, and some long ones about the sze of two stuck together. Anyhow, if they blow them out for a couple of bucks, I may get some and see what happens when you stick them together, but at $10+, nah, just to much. yuppicide
I picked up two of these at a thrift store if anyone is interested in them. They are BRAND new, I paid $3 each. Here's the two I got: Dart - Comes with a Funhouse Mirror. You can see it here: http://www.target.com/Radica-Cube-World-Mods-Dart/dp/B00155IUZ6 The graphics on the little cube are a bit different. Sci-Fi - Comes with Particle Accelerator. You can see it here: http://cn1.kaboodle.com/hi/img/b/0/0/a/6/AAAAC0TLcGsAAAAAAAphLw.png?v=1227281537000 If anyone wants them $3 each plus shipping. Otherwise I'll open them and keep them. Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/85368-cube-world/#findComment-1841960 Share on other sites
