Wrathchild
Hi, How do these games differ, just the maps? (they're not linked in anyway on the AtariMania site) This C64 page says Castle Hassle is combination of Action Quest and Ghost Encounters http://www.digitpress.com/DP/cmf/game.cmf?gameid=33628 I recall Action Quest being one of those really good games I played a lot as a youngster. +davidcalgary29
I have never seen an A8 version of Castle Hassle, and don't know if it was ported to our system. I put in dozens of hours on both Ghost Encounters and Action Quest in the mid-'80s...before I realized that they were just cut-rate versions of Venture. Both games are very similar, but there are some minor cosmetic differences in enemy characters and room layouts. tjb
I always thought JV Software has some really interesting titles. One of my favorites is Journey to the Planets. I spent many an hour on that one. -tjb
deathtrappomegranate
I have never seen an A8 version of Castle Hassle, and don't know if it was ported to our system. Really? http://www.atarimania.com/detail_soft.php?...;VERSION_ID=921 It's listed on many well-known A8 cart lists. It's quite rare, but definitely known to exist as a commercial cart release.
