Of the titles listed (the ones that got nominations), which do you like the best?

Centipede on the 7800 has the best gameplay of all the versions I've seen. It is my favorite game; it's very addicting.

I always liked Ballblazer and Tower Toppler.

 

I always thought Centipede for the 7800 was lacking in the sound department. I thought the 5200 version was superior, especially if you had the trackball controller.

This was a tough one, I went for Galaga because, at the time, I thought it was closest to the arcade version. Joust, Ms PacMan and Motor Psycho are my runner ups.

Ball Blazer. It it was difficult for to choose. I liked galaga and Ball blazer still for the 7800.

This was a hard one. I went Ms. Pac Man, as I feel it is the most faithful at the time to the Arcade. Tower Toppler is real good, and the Donkey Kong for 7800 doesn't suck.

I think they were still LucasFilm Games back then. I agree -- great game, great technology, great music, ahead of its time.

This was a very tough call as there were quite a few great games up there, but I've had a thing for Pole Position for nearly 20 years now, and I have to say that Pole Position II gets my vote.

 

Not to say the others are bad. Asteroids and Centipede were two games I had to pick up with my 7800 not only because of the great reproduction of the classic gameplay, but the ability to play two players simultaneously was a nice addition. I've always loved Joust, and who can resist Ms. Pac-Man?

It's Ms. Pac Man - no contest. It is the 7800 game I like the best (Food Fight is #2), and the one game everyone likes to play. The 5 lives and "nice and fast" gameplay on the default settings is just perfect! As LarcenTyler said, "who can resist Ms. Pac-Man"?
