I know what you mean, i recently got another 130xe as mine is slowly dieing with a short in it somewhere (it will jsut shut off for no reason at time, but it's not the power or plug where the power adapter plugs in), anyway I got the new xe and I couldn't believe how yellow my old xe had actually gotten over the years compared to the new one (it not dirt, it's just gotten discolored from sunlight or whatever). But the C-380's really are tan, so it's not a dirty or discolored grey one you have, but tan.

This is a difficult thing to tell...I found one of the TAN (it's actually tan not grey) one's for 3 dollars at a Goodwill, but they wouldn't know the value of a classic electronic if it had voice synthesis and told them. I've been told that the tan one is the most common too. However, I also one an auction for two black&woodgrain ones of E-bay, and I'm paying 20 dollars (including shipping) for both. I haven't gotten them yet though.

BUT, I bid on one new in the box (my tan one from GW came in the box) until it passed the 50 dollar mark and I stopped bidding (it finally sold for about 80 bucks!!!). I'm hard pressed to know the true value of these things myself, as I only bought the last two because I thought my tan one was broken (I was using the wrong voltage on my adapter-it's 6 volts, not 9), so I want to sell a couple off. I don't know if I got really lucky on my auctions, or if they really aren't worth more than 10-15 apiece. I would just watch the auctions for these things when they come up, and get an average of what they are going for these days.
