Ze_ro
Ironically, the power supply for my Pong machine actually does hum when I plug it in. It's pretty quiet, but if you listen closely... there it is It's scary enough that I always keep it unplugged unless I'm playing it. My room is enough of a fire hazard as it is --Zero

Gunstar
I keep EVERYTHING new or old on power bars/surge protectors that get shut off when not running, not just for fire hazard, but also makes sure that they will last a lot longer... liveinabin
I run all my consoles from a coal-fire powered electricity generator in my living room, housed in an asbestos case. When I want more than 1 console on at once, I simply throw some lighter fluid into the mix. AND I swim right after eating, yeah!
