Even if it is just a lack of video cables plugged into the system, by showing that picture you are automatically putting that thought of its unreliabilty into the head of the consumer. They could have at least fixed the photo before the put it out in public. Two minutes in photoshop would have fixed that right up.

I seriously doubt that, if only for the fact that Joe Consumer would:

A) Never notice

B) If he did somehow bother to notice, would assume it glows a cool red when it's turned on

Anyhow, it is odd at any account. You'd think they'd just get a stock photo for ads.

Wow Target has a pic of a 360 without video cables plugged in on their site.

Thanks for posting this AtariJr...as always your passion to bring us the latest video game news is unmatch.

I just thought it was interesting... like anything on this site is really worth you or anyone's time? When it comes down to it its just a bunch of people saying their mostly useless opinions about things that get thrown way out of proportion. IE: These posts = a waste of your time to fill in the empty parts of your day.

Half the articles are just command copy command paste of joystiq posts anyway, so why am I at fault for doing the same? Go yell at Ze_ro, cpuwiz, and everyother person whos done the same in the last couple weeks.

PS: Until remowilliams pointed out the cable thing I, and for that matter Joystiq didnt know about that little issue. So when i posted it i seriously thought that the only way to get the red ring for a long period of time was to kill it.

Ummm I'm thinking a lot of people find this site a valuable resource... Although in liue of the increase of posts bashing and posting false information about systems the person dosen't wish to purchase, and overly praising and posting false information about systems that aren't on the market yet. Yeah I'll say there are many useless posts these days.
