Gury
Shadow Of The Beast was great hit on Amiga. There was development going for 8-bit Atari: http://www.jetbootjack.com/JBJ_beast.html Development was stopped and currently demo is without enemies. It would be really cool to finish this project. Better could be done as this example from NRV I found: xscroll.zip
Gury
Waw!!! That's really great... excellent graphics and super fast scrolling around the map. It is real test for my new joystick Is this a new project?
Allas
This is a demo from Chile Scene. A guy called NRV did it some years ago. Actually is a demo, not a future project. The technical concept is very simple, but impress effectively. I think Turrican is viable, and in better way. Anyone have a MADs manual translated to english? Maybe Heaven? MEtalGuy66
YEah. The AMIGA game had awesome paralax scrolling. Most of those guys that were working for "REFLECTIONS" when the AMIGA game was made, later ended up working for SCEA, on Playstation 1 & 2 games.. In fact, the guy that did most of the coding for SHadow of the BEast was the same guy who later made DRIV3R. He's done quite a few groundbreaking games for various systems..
