My eyes are still buggin outta my head.

I'm no spring chicken anymore, and 5+ hours

of straight twitch gameplay has put me on the DL.

 

Some beers and football for 2 days should be all the

recovery I need.

Hmmm, what the heck, I'll give it a go.

Just to let you know, I'll hang around the end of some of the stages long enough to get 99 hearts and perhaps the triple shot, but not solely for the purpose of increasing score.

By the way: we're not going to count scores past the point when they roll, so I'm pegging all you insane Dracula killers at 999,999.

 

So don't kill yourself trying to roll it twice or anything...though damn. If someone does roll it twice I'll give 'em a 5-point bonus!

 

EDIT: And don't forget, this week we play through Halloween - so you have until Wednesday morning!

 

I can consistently get past Frankenstein now, though if I lose the holy water I just use my whip, I hate the stupid dagger. I haven't yet beat the Grim Reaper without the holy water, but it isn't hard to keep it through that level.

 

Can't beat Dracula, though, and haven't been able to beat my 160K score.

I didn't manage to top my highest score last night, but I did beat it for the first time ever, with the help of several continues... Fun stuff.

I sure loved it! Definitely a milestone in video gaming history, that made it onto my shoping list now. Then I can hopefully beat it on the real machine sometime soon

 

Ok, I'll pause next week. Can't force myself into a sucker like Kung Fu, even though I still own one - residing on the "goto eBay" staple...
