CaliColts
I prefer to contact the winning bidder myself and keep eBay out of it once the auction is over.
jahfish
i guess it those who ask 2$ handling for putting a cataloge in an enveloppe, and are not able to include this in a direct payment that sucks .... if i get a good deal, i often round the price up or even put a dollar or two on top, so that it's packed and shipped "with love" .... but those who want extra cash for handling when it's nearly more than the shipping costs .... aaarrgg, they suck! MoonlightKnight
as an eBay seller that HATES Checkout, let me tell you. With all the "end of auction," the "payment requests" I send to the buyers, and their responses to my payment request, I don't need eBay's help cluttering up my inbox more than it already is. I always send emails to every buyer and I think that is enough for them. Also, since I don't use eBay payments( I only take money orders or Paypal), I think Checkout is unnecessary. BIG EARL
Funny thing is many of the sellers who say "Don't use eBay checkout" accept Billpoint as a payment method and when a buyer uses Billpoint, they have to go through eBay checkout!
