Grizaptimus
I have come into possetion of a couple of computers reasently, but as my interests lie more in the 8-bit arena I am thinking that I might try to Sell or trade them. Before I do however I need to see what is a fair price for each. The Systems: * Atari Falcon030 - 14Mb RAM, 80Mb HD "I have been unable to test this one as I have no monitors that work with it, It does power up" * Atari TT030 - 4Mb ST RAM, 4Mb TT RAM, 100Mb HD, Keyboard has yellowing, 4GB/CD External SCSI unit, and TTM195 Works Perfectly slight yellowing and the plastic that mates with the base is broken off. What would you guys pay or trade for similar setups?
tjlazer
Well depends on where you are in the world and what shape they are in. Price is between $40 USD up to $700! Example a Falcon in Germany would sell for far less than the US. etc. Edited November 11, 2006 by tjlazer

tjlazer
Why can't you test the Falcon? Use the RF Modulator to hook it up to a TV. You could wire up a composite cable from the RGB port too. Grizaptimus
I am trying to get the Falcon fully tested, but I'm having some issues I got the falcon to the desktop once using my older Sun Microsystems 21" CRT, but everytime I try now I get an "Out of Scan Range" error. can anyone think of any reason why it would work once, but not any other time? I have no cable to hook it up to a TV nor do I have money get one ATM.
jens
Maybe you changed the resolution while having had the Falcon booted up. Or the resolution in the newdesk.inf is bad for the CRT and you bypassed it by pressing the alt or ctrl keys. You should give this thing a try - best would be the alt key I think as the Falcon then trys to boot from floppy if there's one. Hard disk is totally bypassed. When pressing ctrl the auto folder and acc's on the hard drive are bypassed - not sure about the newdesk.inf.
