Callipygous Posted June 12, 2002 Share Posted June 12, 2002 My objection to ending the auction early is not that it is against "the rules". eBay holds no high moral ground, they only care about the $$ and do almost nothing to protect the users of the service anyway. Don't care about their rules. They would probably have an "end auction early" fee if they could. The real problem is for the other bidders and those interested in the auction (maybe they haven't bid yet). Ending an auction early is a big waste of time for everyone who has bid or browsed the item. Its just plain discourteous to pull an item after bidders have been looking at it.
