keilbaca
Looks like Ebay didn't want to get in the shaft that Lik-Sang got into. Don't blame them, as Sony is a ruthless bloodthirsty company.

If Sony had a chance in hell of shutting down Ebay, i'd back them every step of the way. I'd even buy a PS3 to fund the cause.
Uzumaki
Me too... eBay has just become a little too big and has near monopolictic control of internet auction. The high fees they charge are driving some sellers to intentionally overcharge the shipping and handling to cover fees ($1 MP3 player with $100 S&H anyone?) How does eBay monitor for "illegal" PS3 auction? Ban any auction that has the keyword PS3 and ships to UK? If so, don't refer to PS3 or Playstation3 but use picture instead and title the auction "HTF Sony game console NEW 2006" or something. As much as I dislike Sony at the moment I would support them if they tried to to sue eBay. It's getting so bad when it comes to prices and very few people have actually been able to play the PS3 since all the eBay hawkers got a hold of the PS3s, which in turn is effecting launch software sales. jetset
Sorry. I applaud ebay. They're trying to protect thier members from scammers and the like. How many PS3 box-only auctions have already popped up? Or auctions with a nice shiny picture of a PS3 that is only selling info on how to buy one or some crap like that? Yeah, we all love slamming big, bad Ebay. If only it weren't such a necessity and so much of our daily lives didn't depend on it.
2600Lives
My VERY FIRST e-bay purchase has me getting totally screwed. I never got what I paid for, and of course, e-bay did squat to compensate me. I will NEVER use e-bay for any reason ever again. If they had 100 Vectrex's come up on sale tomorrow for a penny a piece and free shipping, I'd pass.
liveinabin
This is fine. Gives the Wii a clear Christmas as the only new console. No arguments here
