MegaManFan
I upgraded the firmware on my PS3 to 1.3, and on my PSP to 3.02, and went to the PlayStation Store to download Syphon Filter. The store warns you that you need to download both the license and the game itself for it to work. I hooked up my PSP via USB, turned it on and synced it up. I made the purchase and downloaded the license (100 KB), and got a message saying it installed correctly. I downloaded the Syphon Filter data (393 MB - seemed like about 10 minutes) and got a message there was an error installing the download. I've checked my PSP's Memory Stick Duo and it has 847 MB free, so space shouldn't be the issue. I tried downloading it again and got the same message. I'm currently $5.99 in the hole for a download that doesn't work. PS: It's really irritating that the official Sony PS3 forums are giving my Mozilla Firefox an unbreakable loop right now when I try to post about this problem. "The page isn't redirecting properly. Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. * This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies." Funny I have all the cookies enabled and the forums worked fine a day or two ago. PPS: Here's a video on YouTube showing the failed install. MegaManFan
I take it as yet I'm still the only one to try this? Or is it just mine that failed and everybody else's download works?
+remowilliams
I'd try it, but I'm not firmware upgrading my PSP

CPUWIZ
Seems pretty straightforward to me. http://www.joystiq.com/2006/12/06/joystiq-...way-of-the-ps3/ I'll try it when I feel like wasting 6 dollars on Crash.
MegaManFan
I did it exactly the way it's described in that Joystiq thread and still get the error shown on my YouTube video.
jedijeff
Wish I could help out MegaManFan, but the best I can do is suggest calling customer service. They might have some info.
MegaManFan
Yup, even the e-mail I finally got back from Sony told me to call customer service, go figure. Probably give them a buzz tomorrow.
