darklord1977 Posted December 6, 2006 Share Posted December 6, 2006 (edited) I just got my playstation 3 today...its a aweaome system...but i have one question...i have some import playstation 2 games(macross. ultraman) and ive heard that these will play on the us version of the playstation 3 because both versions 20 and 60 gb are region free..is this true?? From what I understand, no. The PS3 is region free for *PS3* games. In effect, it is region free going forward. It is not region free going backward, for either DVD's or PS2/PS1 games.
