What's the latest Atari related thing(s) you've bought on ebay?

Makes me want to cry everytime I think about the stuff I should have kept, the boxes, the documentation, my Atari Age magazines. I found myself going back to my roots and falling back in love with my 8-bit stuff.

I tell kids all the time to save their boxes, take care of their stuff, as one day it may be worth more to them or someone else.

My mum threw all the boxes for my 800XL, 1010 data recorder and 1050 drive out. They were all still like new.

I found the boxes for my Atari 400 and 1050 drive in the attic at the parents' house, but I left them there for now (no room in the car for them, I was already loading up with actual computers, drives, disks, books)...

The boxes are all covered in dust, but seem to be in OK shape. Sadly, I don't even have the 400 any more.

I have the box my 1200XL came in, but I bought it used, and the box was torn up (one end missing entirely). The foam inserts are still useful though, I shipped it to Steve Tucker in them (and he shipped it back all shiny and upgraded).

Couldn't resist this one, my first real computer was a 400 which I saved my paper round money to upgrade to 32K.

This has 48K!!

Just need to find a basic cart now.

And 3 mates to play combat asteroids :D

Well I thought I would start and end with the 800xl, sio2pc and a maxflash cart!

Ended up with 400, 800XL,1200XL,130XE, 7800 prosystem, flashback2, about a dozen joystics of various designs, dont even want to think about the softwear (49 7800 carts last month!!)

Hi, I'm Mike and I am an Atari Adict.

It has been 1 hour since my last fix :D

My last buy was a dirty but functional 600XL. I had to replace the ESC key. And i did the 64k mod one day after i got the 600XL.

I still wait for some new ink ribbons for my old 9-pin printer (a Panasonic KX-P1080 i got in 1986). It worked good with Printshop (and others). I connected it over the "1050 Turbo" printer cable (this floppy speeder had an Atari 850 printer port emulation, too).

Now, where to get some endless paper these days? :)
