  1. Uploaded and available in the Cellar. --Tim, An Atari owner
  2. I don't love or hate 7ZIP myself, as I use ZIP for everything still-- after all these years. However, the previous archive I used ZIP and some people ran into issues with extraction or the checksum didn't match. This morning, when I prepped the archive for hosting I noticed that ZIP warned me about some of the filenames using unusual/foreign ASCII characters. So, rather than run into the same issue this time, I bothered with installing 7ZIP and then used it to compile the torrent into a ZIP. *NOTE* I saved it as a ZIP rather than the (proprietary?) 7ZIP format. Hope that helps. --Tim An Atari owner
  3. Now also available in non-torrent format: https://atari-cellar.net/Atari 8-Bit Preservation Archives/ NOTE: 7ZIP was used this time to archive the torrent into a single ZIP file. Hopefully this avoids issues that some people experienced last time. No other changes/alterations have been made. Thank you, @Farb for continuing this amazing archival project! --Tim An Atari owner
  4. Again, VERY sorry for the snafu with OwnCloud and issue with 500mb limitations. Let's make this MUCH easier: https://atari-cellar.net/Atari 8-Bit Preservation Archives/
  5. Unfortunately, I cannot edit/remove the link until I can correct the issue this evening. If any mods see this, though, would you remove the link for now? I hate thinking of all the fails that happen between now and this evening for people. --Tim
  6. Doh! I'm very new with using OwnCloud, so I appreciate your heads-up on the error and I'll check on how to fix it when I get home this evening. --Tim
  7. For anyone who prefers to download apart from torrent, the latest A8Preservation file is available at this link: https://atari-cellar.net/index.php/s/MRjHAoV4W2DP6y3 Notes: * The torrent was 7zipped into a single archive. * The torrent file is also available at this link. * I formerly hosted the latest release of a8preservation at atari-owner.com in a subfolder, but have since moved those files to the Atari-Cellar.
  8. Hmm. I just double-checked here and I am not getting any CRC errors from the downloaded file. I'm using Total Commander's built-in ZIP/UNZIP feature to extract the contents of the file linked originally upon release, as well as the downloaded copy. File sizes match, as well. There was nothing more done on my part than download the file from Mega, and then drop it onto the mirror folder at Atari-Owner.com, grab the direct link, and post that the mirror was available. --Tim
  9. And mirrored: Atari.8bit.Preserved.Software.2021-12-23 Keep up the fantastic work!! --Tim
  10. As always, the latest official preservation archive can be found mirrored at the URL below for Atari enthusiasts and collectors— once the new archive is released, I'll update it on Atari-Owner.com as well: https://atari-owner.com/fun/atari-preserved-software/ --Tim
  11. I restored the file, @hunmanik and verified the link works again. --Tim
  12. I had the same issue with Mega when I was sourcing down the file for hosting on Atari-Owner, so thank you for re-posting the link to the folder, @firebottle (I was going to, but company showed up at my house earlier). And HUGE THANKS to the Atari Owners who continue to compile and archive the Preservation collection!!
  13. As always, the latest official preservation archive can be found mirrored at the URL below for Atari enthusiasts and collectors: https://atari-owner.com/fun/atari-preserved-software/ --Tim
  14. Here is the collection from Allan, according to how I filed it here in my archive, so it's either available via Archive.org, or he had shared it here on AA, but I added it to my archives here in late May of this year. Credit goes to @Allan for his perseverance in getting all of this software up on Archive.org! --Tim C&T ComputerActive (Allan).zip Found a link for you at Archive.org: C & T ComputerActive
  15. At the risk of sounding like a necro-filer here, given it's been just over 9 years since you asked, @Allan, did you ever find this? If not, I'll pull my ANALOG disk collection and image it up if it's in there. --Tim
