Albert
Version 1.0.7 of Virtual Jaguar, an Atari Jaguar emulator based on the Virtual Jaguar source code released by Potato Emulation, is now available. With nearly a year having passed since the last release, quite a few improvements have been made to the emulator. Binaries are available for Windows and Linux, and the source is available as well. You can view a complete list of changes here and keep up with the latest Virtual Jaguar news over at SDLEmu.

neo_rg
yes it is very slow atm, but give it time and it'll get faster and run more stuff correctly. have a try of project tempest, it's a lot faster but less stuff run correctly on it. Starcat
Hi ! My own impression actually is that Project Tempest runs more. At least when it comes to homebrew stuff. Can't tell much about the speed. Both run perfectly on my Athlon 2600+ with sound. (for the games that work with sound) Still I'm eagerly awaiting ever update when it comes to Jag emulation. A good Jaguar emulator can be a powerful dev tool. Too bad that there hasn't been any updated on PT for sooooo long. Btw, in case the Virtual Jaguar coder reads this, is the PAL/NTSC screenposition for real ? Will the game have that screen position on an actual Jag with that region code ? Regards, Lars.
