Albert
Admit it, you love Warren Robinett, the man behind one of the most popular titles on the Atari 2600: Adventure. Unfortunately you can't keep him tucked away in your closet, but you CAN do that with this hand-knit commemorative sweater featuring most of the games he programmed for the Atari 2600. AtariAge user gospeedde designed and knit this sweater in her spare time--you'll never see another quite like it! You will only have one opportunity to win the sweater and donate to a great cause at the same time. This is the ultimate Christmas present for the Atari fan in your family! The front displays the figure that appears on the label and box artwork for Slot Racers, the back is covered by the dragon from Adventure (along with a few other items you may remember), and the sleeves spell out the name of a third Warren Robinnet game in binary. The dragon has even been rendered in a textured pattern to represent scales. The entire amount of the winning bid will be donated to ACCION International, a charity that provides people with "micro" loans so they can start their own businesses. You can learn more about this sweater and bid on it here! Some photos: If you frequent other video game forums and could help draw attention to this auction, that would be much appreciated (just don't spam these forums, plesae!) Thanks and good luck! ..Al

+Nathan Strum
I'd like to point out that right this very moment I'm wearing one of gospeedde's sweaters. It's a real work of art and can be best described as "comfy". Whoever ends up with the Warren Robinett sweater not only gets a warm-fuzzy feeling from helping a charity, but they get real warm-fuzzies, too! video game addict
Wow that did pretty well! I wasn't expecting it to break into the $200+ range, although it shot up quickly from the start. It really was a nice looking sweater. Something I would wear myself. I didn't have the funds to drop on the auction though. Congrats Rick you got a nice addition to the collection, that I bet will see some use too! I hope that you make more available gospeedde, I would really like to own one eventually.
