Atari 8-bit Disk magazines

Hi all,

There were many great disk/paper magazines and newsletters with good software and articles around for our lovely computers, but slowly vanished away when market became smaller or even disappeared in some countries. I still search for more complete list of disk magazines and found out some are fortunatelly put online, like Mega Magazine, Best Of Pokey, Top-Magazin, Flop and every other I forgot (sorry).

ANG Software had Pokey Magazine in Dutch, Best Of Pokey and Mega Magazine in English. Besides that, there were many good disk magazines in German (Top-Magazin), Polish and Czech (Flop) language. My question is: Will there be any translations of these great sources? I would do that if I understood foreign languages besides English. Any reply very appreciated, thanks!

DGS (Dean Garraty software) did a disk mag (wrathchild will or should know about this one)

Sonething called atarione (US), also Atariclassics (US) as well

Old Hackers Newsletters (disk only)

Also, Excel and Futura (Scotland, Robert Stuart)

And the infamous T.G.R (The grim reaper) made by the same people behind the A.U.R.A disk menu's

I can attest to DGS and Futura, as I have issues of both...

German disk mags are a great ressource. In the late 80s and early 90s there were lots of disk mags out there. It would be a huge project to make them all available on one site (and unlike bigger to translate them all).

List of german disk mags:

Top-Magazin

ZONG

ABBUC Magazin

PD Mag

PPP PD Mag

Compy Shop Magazin

Starsoft Magazin

ECS Info Mag

AMC Soft Magazin

Diskline

User Mag

CCB Mag

XLE Mag

QuickMagazin

Hamburger Atari Club Magazin

Unfortunately only the ABBUC Mag survived.
