I haven't been back since and I did follow up on the convention. I hear it moved out to California and for 2007 it is now back in Las Vegas. I would like to go in 2008, but time and money are precious resources to me. So here's what I want to know. I reside in New York City and I'm interested in learning if there are any classic video game-related conventions, swap meets, parties, barbecues, etc. in or nearby NYC such as in upstate New York or Long Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania. I've been out of the loop for awhile but I'd really like to meet other classic game fans in person. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Big Player Posted February 18, 2007 Share Posted February 18, 2007 The vgXpo in Philly is probably the biggest classic gaming event that is close to NYC. It is usually in November. I didn't make it in 2006 but I was there for the first show in 2005. I talked to quite a few New Yorkers there. I do miss the Phillyclassic though. I live in Long Island and Clifton is about 45 minutes from me (no traffic) so if you need to hitch a ride, drop me a PM.
