beyondoasis
I've had my 520 for almost 3 months now and I've had no problems up till 2 days ago when my 5200 controller crapped out on me. Ive been thinking about buying one of these Wico controllers but I've been unsure. Is it worth it if you have the extra cash? accousticguitar
They are good sticks, but not as good as the 2600 joysticks. If you can afford it, the redemption adapter sold in the AtariAge store is the way to go.
JB
I've heard the gold refurb kits for the stock controllers are good too. You mentioned you've been using them with no trouble, so if the ergonomics don't bother you...
nester
The 2600 controllers are a little overrated in my opinion. I don't really get why people want to use them for ever atari system. I fear that my 5200 controllers are breaking down as well though so I may need to find my own solution. I actually think I would rather use a 7800 controller on the thing. accousticguitar
They make a redemption adapter for 7800 sticks too. It's available at the AA store.
