ROMs missing from AtariAge

I've noticed that although there are a lot of Lynx ROMs linked to from the games page, there are also a quite a few that are missing. Is there another source of ROMs or are those ones considered missing? Also, is the AtariAge list complete? Or are there other games that should be on the list?

Are you talking about the protos and modern releases? I think pretty much all of the classic games are on there.

Well, the first one that I noticed that was missing was Qix -- it's listed as a 1991 release, so I would assume that would qualify as a classic release. But, there is no ROM download for it. I dunno if there are more or not -- I'm not as familiar as I wish I was with the Lynx releases to know :)

Not only Qix, but all the Telegames releases have absent

ROMS. Telegames is still in business, and still actively

selling their games [technically], so I'm presuming that's

why you can't download it. Same applies to why all of

the Songbird Production games can't be downloaded here.

As far as completeness of the list, I think it's complete

as far as official releases go, but I think there's a few

'prototypes' that probably shouldn't be included there.

Well... they aren't actively selling any of their old games. It says so on their website and also in an email from them when I asked for information regarding beta releases or prototypes and things of the such.

They stated very clearly that they no longer support or sell those games. End of story

That is Telegames USA you are referring to. Telegames UK still very much sells all the classic games (Telegames brand or otherwise).
