MaDDuck
Hey.... I'd been following the Adventure ii drama for a while! It's shipping, I bought it, and now.... I need some advice on getting a 5200! Which one is the bad one, the 4 or 2 porter? By bad, I mean with the PSU hooking up to the switchbox? I've already nabbed a rebuilt controller, so I'm good there! Thanks, guys!! Though why an auto-switchbox is bad is beyond me.

The 4-port IS how it was intended... the 2-port was a cost-cutting revision.
bomberpunk
i'm glad i'm not the only who who bought Adventure II without owning a 5200. i'm also on the hunt [broke as hell]...but maybe after next payday![/broke as hell]
phaxda
I have a 5200 and power supply for "sale" all I ask is shipping. This is because the power supply connection is a bit loose--anyone with the slightest bit of mechanical skill could fix it, but I just need it out of my apartment. Any 5200 noobs who want it, just shoot me a zip code and I will quote you shipping. It's a 2-port; you can use any RF adapter. i'm glad i'm not the only who who bought Adventure II without owning a 5200. i'm also on the hunt [broke as hell]...but maybe after next payday![/broke as hell] Edited May 9, 2007 by phaxda
jetset
Wow! That's one hell of a nice thing you're offering! I hope it goes to a good home and not a reseller. You wouldn't happen to have a Jaguar you need out of your apartment and will let go for the cost of shipping? Hey, never hurts to ask. phaxda
No Jags. But just in case my spamming of the Marketplace here isn't clear I have a bunch of crap to get rid of before I move in the summer. (Off to San Francisco!) I have that 5200, a bunch of commonish 2600 carts, etc. Just feeling motivated tonight to try and post some of this stuff and getting Adventure II in the mail has made me feel generous. Honestly, I don't even think the trouble is worth it to a reseller, though. p Wow! That's one hell of a nice thing you're offering! I hope it goes to a good home and not a reseller. liveinabin
Seems to be a several people buying a 5200 after ordering AII. Well, it was a little late, but it seems the 5200 has it's killer-app!
