Ninja Gaiden for the Atari Lynx was released in 1991 and is a scaled down version of the arcade game of the same name.

 

This game should not be confused with the NES game of the same name.While the same company made both the arcade/Lynx and NES versions,they two diffrent games.

 

Having played the arcade version many years ago and now playing the Lynx version all i can say is "WOW"! This is a very nice conversion with afew elements missing such as less enemies on screen.

 

Graphics are very good and are very close to its arcade "Big Brother",the sounds are ok with a grunt or moan here or there,but the background music helps a little to balance this out.

 

Your Ninja skills in the game include various attacks,Swinging from poles,Backward flips over walls,and filp attacks that allow you to grab and throw your enemies.

 

I really like the arcade version of Ninja Gaiden and so it goes to say i really like the Atari Lynx version as well.I give this game a Thumbs Up!
