Recommended Posts

I want to make my own carts as cheaply as possible, and would like to re-use the PCB's that I have.

How do I go about it?, modifications, parts etc?

Thanks

Mike

You need:

EPROM Burner (shitty ones cost $50 bucks, something worth owning? They start at about $200)

EPROMS (about $1 to $2 dollars each, cheaper if bought in bulk)

Soildering Iron

Desoildering Iron

Inverters

Know how to make it all happen (get reading)

Good luck.

muchos appreciated, you know I will get stuck somewhere!

wont be making any carts for a few weeks 'cus I have got to A/V mod the 5200 first before I can even see if it works!

5200 is alot easier to mod than the 7800 is so you should be fine.

I'm in the UK, so I guess I will have payed a lot more than you can get stuff for in the UK, but soldering Irons, desoldering wick are easy to get hold of.

Inverters and Eproms are cheap from the AA store.

I have a friend with a Burner, so that is saving me loads!
