Hi All,

 

FWIW, I just stumbled on http://www.krishnasoft.com/sps.htm Looks to offer the same functionality as APE, I´m not sure what (if any) advantages it has over APE, though. But it's available for Amiga as well, so it looks like Ape-like features are popping up on other platforms, showing that SIO2PC and Ape really are a sound concept.

The mainpage offers a lot of books about Krishna, might be interesting if you're into this stuff (which I am most definitely not )

Problem is, it uses the joystick port which means you need either a custom OS ROM, or have to boot a handler first.

 

That Amiga one looks interesting though - parallel to Amiga floppy connector interface.

The guy comes on here once in a while to sell his wares. I do not think he is very successful as he does not explain why we need it. The drive features seem new. I remember before that he came and it seemed to be only a joystick emulator. Thats the way I understood it last year.
