phuzaxeman
imagine if atari came out with a special edition 5200 that came with its slick trackball with centipede and missle command all in 1 package....
+Psionic
Unfortunately, they probably would have had an even harder time selling it. The 5200 was expensive as it was...I don't know how many people would have been willing to spend so much all at once for a console with all that stuff. Plus, that would have been one VERY big box. Math You
I thought the Flashback 3 would have been something like that.
jetset
Probably a bit too much. MC and Centipede did fine on their own. Definetly 2 of the best games, and without question the best add-on available for any of the available systems at the time, but still too much. The trak-ball was a system all by itself! Maybe if they sold 2 versions of the trak-ball, one by itself, one with both games, but not with the system. The one good thing that might have helped, is that MC was not available for the Intel and the CV, and Centipede while available for the other systems was horrible compared to the 5200 port. Even the 8-bit lines Centipede was lame.
