T2KFREEKER
Okay, so I got Qix, awesome. One problem, the Atari copyright screen comes up and then the fuji goes from rainbow to brown and fragments. What in the Hell is wrong with the cart. I cleaned the contacts to the point that they shine and still no go. Any suggestions?
Lord Thag
You could have a bad cart. Most of the bad one's I've got die on the title screen like that, but it could be something else. Does your 5200 work with other games? If so, it's probably a bad Qix cart.

Yeah, I have to track down another Qix now though. At least Star Trek worked out though!

I bet I have an extra Qix.. ..Al It'll be good if someone can help him. Something someone mentioned earlier - the Qix cart for the 8 bits sucks in comparison to the 5200 cart, which is strange. I have both and with the 5200 version, there's no reason to play the computer cart. ... wonder why this was never done on the 2600. It should be able to handle it. Could it? Then again, I wonder what a 7800 version could be like - maybe have some nice fill-ins like the Lynx, rather than just blank colors. As it stands, 5200 Qix is probably the best for an Atari console. The Lynx is a bit messed up with the stix being too big. Edited August 23, 2007 by Brian R.
