rob fulop
Hello. I did a bunch of reasonably well known games back at Atari for both the 2600 and 800 systems. Recently I found a plastic disc box chock full of 5 1/4" Atari 800 floppy discs that I used for development containing a bunch of the stuff I worked on while at Atari from 1979-1981. Frankly I have no idea what is on most of these discs, but I'm sure some of the materials may be of interest to some people who are interested in the history of Atari, particularly the 800 computer system. I'm looking for somebody in the San Francisco area with a working Atari 800 who could help me see what is on these discs. Please send me a private message if anybody knows of anybody like this. Thanks, Rob

neotokeo2001
Hi Rob, I will be in San Francisco next weekend and I'll be there for a week. Sending you a PM now.. ..Al I would fly from Florida to San Francisco with an Atari 800 tomorrow. But Albert is probably a better choice. I would just keep talking about Demon Attack. classics
Hi Rob, If you don't manage to find someone in your area able to help I'll be happy to image the disks for you and return them safely. Steve
+Guitarman
Rob, I live in Carson City NV and make frequent trips to SF, SJ and SAC. If you want, Maybe we could meet in SAC and I could take the disks and image them for you. I have APE/Prosystem and SIO2PC USB version set up on a PC with an attached Happy 1050 and a tricked out 1200XL. It creates disk images very quickly. I could then mail the disks and ATR images on a CD back to you or plan another meet in SAC. Let me know if this sounds plausible to you. I will PM this also. Al, Too bad you couldn't make it to Reno area for a day or 2. Edited August 23, 2007 by Guitarman
