MEtalGuy66
Hi all, I've been following the forums on and off and was wondering if anyone doing Ramdisk upgrades to the 130XE or the 800XL could find a use for these chips. My marketplace posting is here. An image of the SIMMs themselves is attached here as well. Thanks in advance! And if I am barking up the wrong tree, let me know. Best, Jack Your not barking up a tree.. Those are perfectly suited for atari RAM upgrades.

+remowilliams
I've got like a 15lb sack of SIMMs, I should dig them out.
nathanallan
They do this kind of upgrade at atarimax, I think (www.atarimax.com). I've been talking to them, and am thinking about getting the ramdisk we've been talking about, an APE Warp upgrade and regular ram upgrade of 512k! Though for a ramdisk using this kind of memory, you'd have to have a battery backup for keeping the data alive (it's volatile memory) or save it to a disk. Definitely a neat project, Jack.
