Atarifever
More than using the voice aspect, I was wondering if 7800 homebrews could use the high score storage on the Atarivox, if they were programmed that way.
mimo
Yes, but it needs someone to program the games. FYI CPUWIZ sells the highscore part without the VOX
Shawn
Any system that has a DB9 port can use it and\or the memcard.
mos6507
Any system that has a DB9 port can use it and\or the memcard. Those that use the Atari arrangement could AtariVox use it as-is. But some systems might need some pinout changes. Like the Astrocade, for instance. But the Astrocade is a good candidate because it has 2 extra controller ports that few games ever use. Yes your correct, some systems might need a (VERY simple) adaptor cable to use it going from the Vox to the controller port.
Dauber
FYI CPUWIZ sells the highscore part without the VOX I registered last week so I could get one (for ten bucks, even I can afford it!) but every single item still shows up as "APPROVAL PENDING" with no obvious "add to cart" link or anything. I'm not kidding it was the best I have seen him EVER! If you get chance to see him live, sell what ever you have to to get there
