600xl monitor jack- pic wanted

Does anyone have a pic of the back of a PAL 600xl showing the placement of the monitor jack. I'm planning to add one to my new US 600xl now that I've finally gotten the keyboard fixed and 64K ram upgrade done. I'm wondering where the factory jack would fit.

If you buy the kit from B&C, it comes with everything you need. ALL 600 XLs were made with the necessary facilities on the motherboard for a monitor jack, but US 600XLs have a channel selector switch mounted there instead. You have to remove that switch, and install all of the extra components in the kit. There are places for all of them already on the board. Once you got it all installed (including the DIN monitor jack,) use the board itself as an indication of where to cut the hole for the jack. Hint: its gonna be where the switch hole currently is.

YES! Thats right, They sell a KIT to populate the monitor output circuitry of a 600XL. Email Bruce and ask him about it!

Does that kit make the 600XL outputting seperate chroma/luma along with

composite video like 800 and 130XE?

Or will it be on par with 800XL and 'only' have composite?

I like the idea of a kit, but if i was building it in, i would do it right way.

I'd check the values of the resistors in the package and compare them

to the values mentioned in the S-Video for XL mod.

600XL S-Video 2.1 you can find here.
