+Psionic
crap i would have paid $300 for Boing! And you'd be crazy if you did in the current market, considering the last one (which was super mint & in a Xonox-style case) barely topped $250. This the third boxed copy in the past 6 months to pop up on eBay...it's not like this title hasn't been available. what did it sell for? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=180178403133
Atarimania75
Oh well! It would have went better if this stuff was sold here. $650 is a great price for a CIB Quadrun in that condition......I would be buying it if i didn't have one. I think the 5th Ghost still is looking for one.
+Psionic
Oh well! It would have went better if this stuff was sold here. Maybe...but people always say that. $650 is a great price for a CIB Quadrun in that condition... It is...I'd be tempted myself, but I've spent my 2600 budget for this year. I guess i don't browse as much as some of you. I think it was a good deal. I think Toymailman has made out like a bandit with the Quadrun and Rescue Terra he picked up. Seeing that a Quadrun with instructions can go for $400 alone and he got a free box out of the deal. Rescue Terra CIB i remember 2 loose ones selling for $350 or more. I got goofed up on bidding on the Rescue Terra and time ran out. Glad it went to toymailman though.
k8track
Holy smoke, that went fast! I was basing that BIN price on an earlier one I saw a couple months back, I recall it being between $200-$250, I think.
ninermaniac
I still think the Xonox style in the box is harder to find.

Your price on the Quadrun is very good and i think you should get the BIN price on it. I just know i would have offered more for the Boing but its gone now and sometimes it works for the best to be patient and find things at deals. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...N:IT&ih=017 I was willing to pay $150 for this til i found this one late night. Good thing i have the hours of a vampire or i wouldn't have found this and 8 other deals from the same seller! He listed them around 2:00 a.m. my time. Its only the 2nd time I saw Cosmic Commuter CIB up for auction on ebay......the last one i remember seeing was Video Game Addict's listing. I think this is by far the hardest CIB Activision one there is to find. The rest of them u can usually find for under $50 with the exception of Beamrider although that one has been appearing more and so is dropping quickly down in price. I have both versions of Beamrider now U.S. and Canadian version (which i didn't know existed until i got one) Edited November 9, 2007 by Atarimania75

Glad it went to toymailman though. One sold on eBay on May-14-07 for $349.99 BIN. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...p;rd=1&rd=1 Why do you need to bid on another? You claimed you picked up a CIB one from atari2600.com for $235: http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?s...t&p=1297403 Are you back to buying Atari stuff now? I thought you were into Garbage Pail Kids. LOL that was a joke as Crazy Climber guessed back then .......At that price even though the box may have had some water damage i think it was still a steal and Toymailman was smart in grabbing the deal while he could. It satisfies his need for the game CIB for now and when he finds a nicer more mint box he can sell that one for a profit i am sure. I think its funny how a lot of people stuck their noses up at it. Sure it shouldn't go for as much as a mint one but i think it should have went for more than the cartridge and instructions are worth alone .......same as Quadrun. I think i have more of my collection Complete then when i started selling off things before. I just finished my Coleco and Activision lots. Picked up a Sealed Time Pilot along with a few more that night. So yes i am collecting again............I got a nice collection of Garbage Pail Kids now the whole set minus the error cards which some are worth 100's of dollars. Its great to go through the album and remember trading these cards with my friends. I remember the teacher confiscating my set of 1st series ones back in elementary school. I also remember my father bringing me home these rectangular computer cards that had little slots poked in them. Its amazing how in awe of them i was then....the other kids all wanted them too. Well the strange thing is he said he got these all at a thrift shop and he mentioned that all there seemed to be was "rare titles" and he also mentioned that a lady did get there before him and bought about 20 games so he was suprised these rare games were left. I don't know what he is basing his prices on because 2 of the games he still has up seem higher than they should be and a couple he had not listed seem higher. I am just wondering what the lady got before he came if she left all these games behind.

I know the thrifters here may cry foul, but this is a good example of how people should, if they really want to help out a charity, run their stuff by an eBay dropoff store or a trading assistant before just giving the stuff to said charity for their thrift store. The charity would have been far better off if the middleman had been instructed to eBay the good stuff and remit the proceeds to the charity... Also, people shouldn't set BIN's unless they know what they are doing. Those points aside, as a thrifter and BIN seeker myself, thank goodness for clueless people!
