Joystick Features & Price

This is related to my initial question about buying a low cost USB joystick adapter for your Atari joysticks to be used with emulators. This one tries to establish a fair price point for such a device.

I like 4-player games like MULE and Roadblock. Would 4 joystick support be technically possible? Or is the issue that it would drive up the price too much for the number of people who would actually use it?

If something can be made so I can use 7800 sticks/pads with dual fire button support it may be of interest, but in the main I am happy with my Steladapter

It's possible but, you're right the price would definitely not be under $20. My objective here is to keep the price as low as possible. So far the poll indicates that some people would like to have ALL (2 sticks+paddles) for under $20. It's still early though to draw any usable conclusions from the poll.
