playing .bin files on emulator

I have Atari800Win PLus 3.0 emulator and set it up per directions I found on the web. I have the 5200.rom, ataribas.rom, atariob.rom, atarixl.rom, mydos45d.atr, etc... and set them up in the emulator, but the only games I can play is through the load executable (.xex) files. I have a lot of .bin files and everytime I try to Auto boot image it indicates to select cartridge type (it usually has anywhere from 2 to 4 different cartridge types) No matter what I select nothing happens. How can I get these .bin files to work? Any help would be greatly appreciated......

thanks

Be sure to have them emulator set to the correct type 5200 or 8-bit before "attaching the cartridge". If you are in 8-bit computer mode and attach a 5200 bin, you will not get choices for 5200 cartridges, for example.
