cosmosiss
Just got me a 5200 and one of the controller's numpad doesn't work. I took it appart and I think I found the problem. Everything else looks good. Those thick lines look like they could be a bridge or something? If so, the line is broke. Do I need a new circuit? Jess Ragan
Looks like. You may be able to bridge it with wires or solder, but it may affect the sensitivity of the buttons. You're probably better off replacing either the circuit or the controller itself. You could also build an adapter with a keypad... that's what I did, with a little help from another AtariAge member.
